Recent Reviews Below! Top 10 Reasons to stay at the Bricktown Hotel and Convention Center
I decided to stay here instead of a downtown hotel even though it meant driving to the Cox Convention Center. I’m glad I did. Besides getting a great room at half the cost, I enjoyed friendly customer service. Noah at the front desk was extremely helpful. HL, the shuttle driver, was an instant friend – he has a great personality to work with folks. Both are keepers and great people to deal with. All in all, I’ll book here again if I’m back in OKC for business. Stayed October 2014, traveled on business
We checked in on a Sunday afternoon and had a bottom floor with the room facing the pool area. Clean. Two queen sized beds, microwave, mini fridge, hairdryer, iron, coffee…used them all. It was nice and quiet, no loud neighbors and couldn’t even hear traffic from the freeway. The shuttle was VERY nice for us since we didn’t drive. Used it to drop off at city bus station, Remington park, and OU Medical. Very friendly staff and great driver. Will definitely stay again. Room Tip: Bottom floor facing pool. Stayed October 2014, traveled with family

Pros: Great clean Rooms with fridge and Microwave. Free Shuttle bus to Brick-town area
Cons: For the price of the room nothing really
Location: Location 1 mile from town center but has 24/7 free shuttle bus
Stayed at this hotel, Old but has been upgraded, Very helpful staff and above all very clean room with extra amenities. Fridge, Microwave and nice courtyard with pool. Has complementary shuttle bus 24/7 to Bricktown area. Would stay again no problem, Great value for the money

While it’s not easy getting in and out of the hotel property because of freeways, the hotel has the most spectacular 24 hour shuttle service you could ask for! Our first night they dropped us off at Bricktown for over an hour to explore and were back to get us within 15 min of our call. Same thing the next day. They took us to one museum, then shuttled us from that to another and then back to the hotel at the end of the day to pick up our bags before leaving town. The drivers were awesome people, friendly and relaxed.

Pros: It was cozy and quiet.
Location: There is a Waffle House across the street, and a few other places within walking distance.
Stayed here for 3 nights, out of actual Bricktown, but nice that it’s kind of out of the way. They offer a free shuttle to take you to Bricktown (drop off/pick up). Breakfast in the mornings are pretty good, I think I had the best waffle and maple syrup ever here! Biscuits and gravy is really tasty as well. (They offer a variety of breads, pastries, juices, cereals, and oat meals as well). There was a pool, but didn’t get a chance to use it (it had inflatable toys to play with as well).
“Stayed twice and both times were a pleasure!!” It seems to be a remodeled older hotel that has been done very well. Everything about our two stays was excellent. The shuttle, breakfast, rooms clean, pool and the staff is great. Don’t be fooled by the old building, it has been remolded inside and is the best value for the money I have found in OKC. We were there for OU Children’s Hospital and the shuttle makes it a lot easier to get around. They also have complementary laundry facilities.
“Best Buy in Oklahoma City!” For whatever reason (probably oil related) airfare, car rentals and hotels are priced way out-of-line for this city compared to comparable cities. With or without a AAA or AARP discount, this hotel is less than one-half the price of any other chain hotels in the downtown/Bricktown area. When we arrived by airport shuttle and saw the hotel our first impressions were not that positive. Previous reviews have this hotel as rundown or tired. It’s neither. It has been partially remodeled and is bare bones. The biggest drawback is its location which is adjacent to two truck stops immediately off the Interstate and across from a Waffle House. Even with this location, the hotel is generally quiet. You won’t need a car to go anywhere. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service most anywhere except the airport and can take you to Bricktown which is five minutes away. The rooms are clean, air works fine and the staff are friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is passable. If you want to save about $100/night compared to nearby hotels consider the Bricktown. I’d stay there again.
